1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how DEVORAPPS LLC, a Virginia limited liability company doing business as "TrackDeals" ("TrackDeals", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website at trackdeals.app and our mobile applications (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers (from Google or Apple Sign-In if used).
• Preferences: stores, categories, and keywords you choose to follow.
• Content: deals or comments you submit.
• Waitlist: email address when you join the pre-launch waitlist.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, deals tapped, time spent in the app, device type and operating system.
• Device identifiers: push notification tokens (Expo, FCM, APNs) so we can send you alerts.
• IP address: collected for security, anti-abuse, and approximate location at the city level.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To send you push notifications about deals matching your alerts.
• To personalize your feed (e.g., prioritizing stores or categories you follow).
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
• To respond to your support requests.

4. Affiliate Links and Tracking

TrackDeals participates in affiliate programs with Amazon Associates, Impact, Rakuten, and other retailer networks. When you tap a deal, you may be redirected to a retailer's site through a tracking link. The retailer's own cookies may be set in your browser to attribute any resulting purchase to TrackDeals.

We do not see the items you ultimately buy, only aggregate commission reports from the retailer. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information:

• Service providers: Supabase (database, auth), Expo / Apple / Google (push notifications), Vercel (hosting), and retailer affiliate networks (anonymized referral tracking only).
• Legal compliance: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality measures.

6. Your Choices

• Access & deletion: email contact@trackdeals.app to request a copy of your data or to delete your account.
• Push notifications: turn off in your device settings at any time.
• Marketing emails: every email includes an unsubscribe link.

7. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods:

• Account data (email, profile, preferences): for as long as your account is active, plus up to 30 days after account deletion to allow for recovery and final cleanup.
• Authentication tokens and push notification tokens: until you sign out, revoke the token, or uninstall the app.
• Usage logs and security/anti-abuse records: up to 90 days, after which they are anonymized or deleted.
• Affiliate click and aggregated analytics data: retained indefinitely in anonymized form for product analytics and reporting.
• Records required by law (e.g., tax, accounting, fraud investigation): retained as long as required by applicable regulations.

8. Children's Privacy

TrackDeals is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

TrackDeals is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US, which may have different data protection rules than your jurisdiction.

10. State Privacy Rights (California, Virginia)

California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Virginia (VCDPA)

Virginia residents have the right to (i) confirm whether we process their personal data and access it, (ii) correct inaccuracies, (iii) request deletion, (iv) obtain a portable copy, and (v) opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling with significant effects. We do not engage in any of those activities, but you may exercise any of these rights regardless.

How to submit a request

Email contact@trackdeals.app with the request and the email address associated with your account. We respond within 45 days (extendable once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
