Delete Your Account

Overview

TrackDeals, operated by DEVORAPPS LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("TrackDeals", "we", "us"), lets you permanently delete your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.

Delete from the app (fastest)

You can delete your account directly inside the TrackDeals app:

  1. Open the TrackDeals app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Account & data.
  4. Tap Delete my account, confirm, and your account is deleted immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email contact@trackdeals.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may need to verify your identity before processing the request, and we will complete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account and login (email and authentication identifiers).
  • Your profile (display name, avatar).
  • Your favorites and saved deals.
  • Your price alerts.
  • Your preferences (followed stores, brands, keywords, ZIP).
  • Your subscriptions and entitlements.
  • Your push notification tokens.

What is retained

  • Comments: comments you posted are kept but anonymized — your name is removed and the comment shows as "[deleted user]". This preserves the reply threads of other users who responded to you.
  • Anonymized analytics: aggregate, de-identified usage and affiliate-click data that is no longer linked to you.
  • Records required by law: limited records we are legally required to keep (e.g., tax, fraud prevention).

Your account and personal data are deleted immediately. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.

Download your data first (optional)

Before deleting, you can export a copy of your data: in the app, go to Profile → Account & data → Download my data. This gives you a JSON file with your profile, favorites, alerts, preferences, subscriptions, and comments.
